Started Jk Fashion a while back on Varadha Raja Swamy Project Road. It is usually pretty hot in Atmakur, so we keep the fans going all day in the shop. People come in from Gareebnagar mostly to look at what we have on the hangers. It is not a massive showroom or anything like that, just a regular place with clothes for the neighborhood. Sometimes the stock is late getting here because of the road work outside, but we manage. We spend most of the morning unpacking boxes and making sure things aren't too wrinkled. It gets crowded on the weekends when families walk over after lunch. You can find us easily enough right near the project road. I usually sit near the front desk while my cousin helps people find their sizes. We don't have fancy lights, just the normal tubes on the ceiling. The inventory changes when the seasons do, but we try to keep things that people actually need for daily wear. It is a simple life here. Sometimes we close early if there is a festival in town or if the power goes out for too long. Most of the folks around here know us by name now. We just try to keep the shelves tidy and the prices fair so people keep coming back. It’s a lot of folding and re-folding clothes, but it keeps us busy through the afternoon.
