AM Gowd Constructions is run out of the Gowd Building, which is right in the Nellore Rural area. If you know where the ISKCON Temple is on the main road, you’ve probably passed us. We are located at 26-16-177 in ISKCON City. It’s a busy stretch of road, and there is always something happening outside. We do a lot of the local building work that you see popping up around Nellore. Most of our days are spent talking to foremen or checking on how much cement we have left in the yard. It’s a straightforward construction business, nothing too complicated about it. We have a local crew that understands how we do things here. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, we just want to do the work that’s right in front of us. Sometimes the weather in Nellore makes it tough to stay on schedule, but we do what we can to keep things moving. The office is a practical space where we handle the billing and the planning for the next day's labor. It’s nice being near the temple; it gives the area a bit of a landmark. We’ve been here long enough that people know who we are when they see our trucks. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just build things, take care of our workers, and try to stay busy year-round in this part of Andhra.
