Sgt India Pvt. Ltd. is based out of House Number 488 in Orel, Assolna. This is in the Salcete area of Goa. Living and working here is a bit different than in the big metros. The pace is a little slower, which is nice, but we still have plenty to do. The pin code is 403701. Our office is basically part of a house, so it feels very personal and not at all like a cold corporate building. We have the usual stuff like computers and printers, but we also have the sound of the birds outside and the occasional dog barking. It is a practical way to run a business without all the overhead of a fancy city office. We spend our days at our desks, but we can see the greenery through the windows. Assolna is a beautiful place, and being in Orel keeps us grounded. We don't have a big HR department or a bunch of managers. We just have a small team that knows what needs to happen. Sometimes the power goes out when there is a storm, and we just take a break until the generator kicks in or the lights come back. It is a very simple, honest way of working. We are just here doing our bit in this corner of Goa. Most days are pretty quiet, which allows us to actually focus on the tasks at hand without being distracted.
