Zholee Designs India Private Limited is situated in Dwarka, specifically at Shop No 119 in the Vardhman Grand Market at CSC Section 3. Dwarka is a bit different from the older parts of Delhi; it feels a bit more planned, but the markets are still full of life. Our shop is where we do most of our design thinking and business handling. It’s a decent-sized space in a commercial center, so we have plenty of neighbors doing all sorts of things. We aren't trying to be some high-fashion house from a magazine. We’re just local people working on designs that we hope people will like. The market gets quite busy in the evenings when everyone comes out to shop, but our mornings are usually spent quietly going through orders and talking to our tailors and suppliers. We don't use a lot of fancy jargon or pretend to be something we aren't. It’s a straightforward operation. Sometimes the parking in the market is a nightmare, which is something we deal with every day. We’ve been in this spot for a while and have gotten used to the rhythm of the place. We keep our shop organized enough to work, though there’s usually sketches and fabric swatches lying around. At Zholee Designs, we just take things one day at a time, making sure our work is done right. It’s a simple, honest business in the heart of Dwarka, and we like it that way.
