Damad Fruit Wine Llp

Down in Mawkyrwat, things are pretty peaceful. We’ve got our setup for Damad Fruit Wine over at Meldora Wanniang’s place in Shilliang Ktieh. Making wine from local fruit is a slow process, and we don’t try to rush it. It’s just a few of us here in the West Khasi Hills. We spend our time cleaning fruit, watching the fermentation, and bottling things up. It’s not a high-tech factory. It feels more like a home project that just got a bit bigger over time. We like being part of the community here. People stop by sometimes to see what we're up to. We aren't looking for any awards or anything. We just like making something people can enjoy. Sometimes a batch doesn't turn out exactly how we planned, and we have to start over. That's just the way it is with fruit. It’s unpredictable. The weather in Meghalaya plays a big part in it too. We don't have a big sales team. If you want to find us, you just come to Mawkyrwat. It’s a simple life. We work hard, we stay local, and we keep things honest. There’s no corporate polish here. Just some folks, some fruit, and some bottles. It keeps us busy and we're happy enough with that. It's a small-scale thing and we plan to keep it that way. We just keep plugging along.
