We operate Zicom Retail Security Systems Pvt Ltd from our spot in LG 46A at the DT Mega Mall. It’s right there on Golf Course Road, not far from the Bristol Hotel. It's a busy part of DLF City Phase I. Our space is tucked away a bit, but we’ve got plenty of equipment and boxes around. We spend most of our time dealing with technical stuff and talking to people about their shops. It’s not a glamorous job, sitting among wires and sensors, but it’s what we know. Sometimes we have to head over to the office at Ansal Imperial Tower too, so we're often on the move. The mall environment is strange sometimes, with the constant hum of the air conditioning and the shoppers walking past. We’ve got a small team here, just regular people trying to keep things organized. We aren't interested in sounding like a big corporate office even if the name sounds a bit formal. Most days involve testing things out and making sure the inventory is right. We get a lot of questions from folks who are worried about their own businesses. We try to give them straight answers without using too much technical jargon that nobody understands. It’s a practical business and we just take it one day at a time, making sure the work is solid. We've been here for a while and the rhythm of the mall feels normal to us now.
