This World Brain Center Hospital is located right opposite Janak Cinema on Pankha Road. Being near Dabri Crossing means there is always a lot of noise from the horns and the buses passing by. If you’re looking for us, just find the cinema and we are right there. The building has several floors and we have elevators that occasionally get stuck if too many people jump in at once. Inside, the walls are a light color and there are signs pointing towards different departments like the lab or the wards. We spend a lot of our day dealing with head injuries or things like strokes. It’s serious work, so the atmosphere is usually pretty quiet even if the street outside is chaos. The staff wears blue or white scrubs and they are always carrying clipboards or tablets. We have a small pharmacy on the ground floor which is handy for getting prescriptions filled right away. Sometimes the waiting room gets really full, especially on Monday mornings. People sit and wait their turn while watching the small TV we have mounted on the wall. If the weather is bad, the lobby gets a little damp from everyone's umbrellas, but we try to mop it up quickly. It’s just a local hospital trying to serve the community around Dabri Crossing. We don’t have a lot of big slogans. We just open the doors in the morning and see who needs help. It’s a job that never really stops for any of us.
