Welcome Pan Palace

Welcome Pan Palace is inside Mayur Vihar Phase I at House No E 15. We are right there by the Dronacharya Apartment gate. It’s a residential area, so things are mostly pretty calm around here compared to the main markets. I set up my small stall every morning and wait for the morning walkers to pass by. Many of the residents from Dronacharya Apartment stop for a chat while they are out. I keep my supplies in a wooden cupboard that I’ve had for years. The area stays quite shaded because of the big trees along the road. I spend a lot of time just sitting and folding leaves. It’s a small space, barely enough for two people to stand behind the counter. Sometimes the kids from the apartment complex come by for some candy or small snacks. I try to keep everything neat, but with the wind blowing through Mayur Vihar, leaves and dust always end up on the counter. It’s a simple life here. I know whose car is whose and when people usually come home from work. The evening is when it gets the busiest, with people stopping by after their commute. We don't have any fancy lights or music, just the sounds of the neighborhood and the occasional car horn at the gate. It suits me fine. I often share my lunch with the guard who works at the building nearby.
