Weighing Industry Welfare Foundation

We operate out of House Number 4 in Ashok Vihar, specifically the first floor of Block DPH 1. Being right near the government school means there’s always a lot of activity when the school bell rings. The Weighing Industry Welfare Foundation started because we knew the people working with scales and measurements needed a place to turn to for advice or support. It’s a very specific niche, we know. But it matters to the people in it. Our office is basically a converted part of a house, so it feels very homey. We have a few chairs and a table where we discuss things over tea. It’s not fancy at all. We spend our days reaching out to workers and businesses in the industry. Sometimes the stairs are a bit narrow when we’re carrying boxes, but we manage just fine. The neighborhood is mostly families, so it’s a nice place to work. We don’t have big advertisements or a flashy entrance. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they know the school nearby. We’re just a small team trying to look out for the welfare of others in our field. It’s straightforward work and we like it that way. We don’t try to be something we’re not. If you come by, you’ll probably find one of us sorting through mail or on the phone. It's just us doing our part for the people who make the industry work.
