Wadi Safe Water India Foundation

Our office is in the basement at E-86 on Paschimi Marg in Vasant Vihar. It’s a nice part of South West Delhi, but being in a basement means we don’t see much of the sun during our work hours. We are the Wadi Safe Water India Foundation. It’s just a handful of us working on water-related stuff. We’re not trying to sound like some big international corporation with a massive budget. We just look at the problems and try to fix them as they come. Sometimes the plumbing in the building itself acts up, which is a bit funny given what we do. It’s a very practical space. We have maps pinned to the walls and plenty of files tucked into corners. It gets a bit cramped when everyone is in the office at the same time. We don’t spend money on fancy decorations or expensive furniture. Most of what we have is second-hand or just stuff we’ve gathered over the years. People come in and out all day. It’s a bit of a trek to find the right entrance sometimes because the street numbers here can be confusing for newcomers. We keep it real. No corporate fluff or scripted answers for anyone. Just honest work from a small basement. We’ve been at it for a while now and we don’t plan on stopping or moving anytime soon. It suits us just fine. We just stay busy with the files and the tasks at hand.
