Vijaya Furnishers

You can find Vijaya Furnishers at the Maa Saraswati Complex in Bagdolla Village, which is part of Sector-8 in Dwarka. We are right near Gargiya World School. Our shop and workspace are often filled with the smell of wood and polish. We have been here in Dwarka for quite a while now. It is a busy spot because we always have something being built or repaired. It’s not a shiny showroom like the ones you see in big malls. We have pieces of furniture in different stages of being finished scattered around the room. There are saws, hammers, and measuring tapes on almost every surface. We spend our days measuring wood, cutting it, and putting things together for people's homes. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with the machinery, but that is how furniture gets made. We have a small corner where we sit down with customers to talk about what they want, usually over a glass of water. It is a very honest kind of work. We don't have fancy brochures. We just show people what we are working on right then and there. The village area is a bit crowded, but it’s a good community to be a part of. We like the fact that people can just walk in and see how we work. It’s a basic, hardworking shop and we take it one day at a time.
