Vichitra Construction is our small operation. We have been here for a while and the neighborhood has changed so much. Our office is small and usually a bit cluttered with blueprints and old files. We don't have any fancy lobby or a person to greet you at the door. You just walk in and find whoever is available. Most of the time, the guys are out at a site anyway. Construction in Delhi is tough because of the heat and the narrow streets that make it hard for trucks to get through. We spend a lot of time just coordinating things on the phone. Sometimes we have to wait for weeks just to get the right permissions. It’s a lot of patience. We aren't a giant company with thousands of workers. We’re just a group of people who know how to build things properly. We don't talk much about our vision or anything promotional. We just focus on the task at hand. If there’s a wall to be built or a roof to be fixed, we do it. The city is loud and the dust from the sites gets everywhere, but that’s just our daily life. We like being part of the local community in West Sagarpur and helping things grow, one brick at a time.
