Our office is situated over at Flat Number 11, near Pt. Oma Nand's place, which is right on the edge of New Delhi near the 110037 area. If you know this part of the city, you know it is always moving. We deal with roadlines, so there is always a lot of talk about routes, truck timings, and which roads are blocked today. The office isn't anything special to look at, just some desks, chairs, and a lot of phone calls going back and forth. Being so close to the airport and the main highway means we hear the planes and the heavy traffic all day long. It gets quite dusty too, so we are always wiping down the tables. We have a small group of people working here, mostly just local folks who know the shortcuts around Delhi. We spend most of the day coordinating with drivers who are out on the long hauls. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, like when the monsoon hits and the roads get messy, but we just keep at it. There is no point complaining about the traffic because it never changes. We just focus on getting the loads from one point to another without too much trouble. It is a basic operation, really. We drink a lot of tea, check the logs, and make sure the paperwork is sorted before the sun goes down. It’s just how we run things here on a day-to-day basis without any fuss.
