Tyres Planet

We've been running Tyres Planet over at Shop No Wz 100 for some time now. Being in Sector 7 around Ramphal Chauk means there is always something going on outside the door. If you know where Shiksha Bharti School is, then you pretty much know where we are located in Dwarka. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at from the street. It’s mostly just stacks of rubber and some old tools we've used for years. We open up early most mornings when the traffic starts picking up. Usually, the air smells like new rubber and maybe some tea from the stall nearby. It gets a bit noisy during school hours with the kids and the buses, but we are used to it by now. There’s a bit of grease on the floor and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint if we ever found the time. We spend most of our day dealing with punctures or showing people different treads. It is hard work on the back, especially when the sun is hitting the pavement hard in the afternoon. Sometimes the shop feels a bit small when several people come in at once, but we make it work. Most of the folks who stop by live right here in the neighborhood. They know where the spare keys are kept and where to sit while they wait. We don't have a big waiting room, just a couple of plastic chairs that have seen better days. It's just a regular local spot.
