Out here in Vasant Kunj, specifically at D-7/ 7018, things stay pretty busy for us at Transport Corporation Of India. It’s a residential area mostly, so we try not to make too much noise, but there is always something happening. We’ve been operating from this New Delhi spot for a good bit of time now. The office is usually filled with papers and the sound of people talking on their mobiles. It’s not a corporate showroom or anything like that. We just have our desks set up and we deal with the logistics side of things day in and day out. Sometimes the internet goes slow or the power cuts out for a minute, which is just part of living in Delhi, so we just wait it out and get back to work. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations because there’s too much to do. Most of the guys here have been working together for years, so we know how each other works without having to say much. It’s a straightforward way to spend the day. We deal with trucks, schedules, and making sure the drivers know where they are going. It’s simple work, really, even if it gets stressful when things are running behind. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just show up, do the job, and go home to our families. That’s how we’ve always done it here in this little corner of the city.
