Tavshtaa Foundation

We are based in Begumpur at Plot No 38A. Our office is on the second floor, so there are some stairs to climb every morning. It is in the North West area of Delhi, zip code 110086. The office itself has a very lived-in feel to it. There are stacks of paper on the desks and calendars pinned to the walls. It might look a little messy to an outsider, but we have our own way of finding things. Begumpur is a loud and busy neighborhood with lots of small shops everywhere. We fit right into the middle of it. We are not a massive organization with hundreds of employees. It is just a small, dedicated team here. We do everything ourselves, from making the morning tea to sorting out the paperwork. Our windows look out over the main street, so we see a lot of activity throughout the day. The traffic noise is constant, but we have learned to ignore it. We started this place because we wanted to be useful. Now it is just our daily life. We show up, check what needs doing, and get to it. It is not a complicated operation. We do not have brochures or fancy marketing. People just come by and ask us what is going on if they need to know anything.
