Surya Institute Of Advanced Studies

We are located over here in Chattarpur, specifically at B 227 in Phase 2. It is a pretty easy place to find if you already know where the Chattarpur Mandir is, since we are just a short walk from there. The building we are in stays quite busy most days of the week. We set up Surya Institute Of Advanced Studies because there seemed to be a need for more advanced studies in this particular part of Delhi. It is not a fancy corporate setup with glass walls or modern art, just a practical and functional space where people come to get their work done. Sometimes the noise from the street gets in through the windows, but that is just how things are in this neighborhood. We spend most of our mornings getting the rooms ready and checking the daily schedules. People tend to drop in throughout the afternoon. It gets a bit crowded around the temple on festival days, and that usually affects the traffic right outside our door. We have been at this address for a good while now. The rooms have basic desks and wooden chairs. We do not spend much on decorations because the focus here is really on the books and the classes themselves. There is a small tea stall just around the corner where everyone goes during their breaks. It feels like a small community here in Phase 2. We keep the doors open and try to help whoever walks in with questions. It is a lot of paperwork and talking to students one on one.
