About Surekul Educational Foundation – Charity & Non Profit Organisations in South West Delhi
We are over in Rohini, specifically at House Number 190 on the second floor of Pocket-12, Sector-24. It’s a typical residential block where everyone knows everyone. Our office is just a regular floor in a house. We have bookshelves lining most of the walls because we deal with a lot of reading material. There are a couple of rooms where we sit and work. The 2nd floor gets a good amount of sun in the morning which is nice. We have a small balcony where we keep a few plants that mostly look a bit dry. Most days are spent typing or talking to people on the phone. The street outside is usually full of parked cars and children playing after school. We don't have a big staff, just a few local people who come in daily. The tea comes from the kitchen at the back. We try to keep things tidy but there are always papers everywhere. It feels like a home more than an office sometimes. We use old wooden tables and some mismatched chairs we've gathered over time. It’s not a place for showing off. We just focus on the work we have for the day and go home when the sun goes down. The neighborhood is safe and we like being here. It’s a straightforward setup for us. We have a small rug in the middle of the room that's a bit frayed at the edges. Just regular folks doing regular work here in Rohini.
