You can find us in Mahipal Pur Extension, right off National Highway 8. We are at plot number 506, tucked behind the Tata Telco service station. Since we are so close to the highway, the sound of heavy trucks and horns is something we hear all day and night. The yard is usually full of packing materials, wooden crates, and big rolls of bubble wrap. We spend a lot of time loading and unloading things. It’s physically demanding work, and we are often covered in dust by the end of the shift. The office part is just a small cabin where we keep the logbooks and the keys. It’s not the cleanest place because of all the moving and the proximity to the service station, but it works for what we do. We have a lot of space for the vehicles to park and turn around, which is important. Some nights we are here late finishing up a load for a long trip. The guys take breaks sitting on the tailgates of the trucks. It’s a rough-and-ready environment. We don’t have any big signs or fancy reception desks. If you come looking for us, you’ll probably see us moving a sofa or taping up a box. It’s just how the cargo business is in this part of town near the airport. We keep things moving and try to stay on schedule despite the heavy traffic out on the main road.
