Super Machinery Store

Super Machinery Store is tucked away in Palika Bazar, right in the heart of Connaught Place. If you know the mezzanine floor of the Central Hall, that’s where you’ll find Shop M/9. It’s a bit of a maze down here sometimes but being near the Chawri Bazar Metro Station makes it easier for people to reach us. The air conditioning in the bazar is a life saver during the summer months when the crowds get thick. We sell all kinds of machinery parts and tools from this small spot. It’s a bit tight with the low ceilings on the mezzanine, so we have to be smart about how we store the heavier items. I spend a lot of my time answering the phone and checking the ledgers while the boys move the crates around. Palika is always buzzing with noise and people looking for deals, but our corner stays fairly focused on the hardware. We’ve seen a lot of shops come and go in this building over the years. We just keep doing what we do. It’s not a quiet place to work but you get used to the rhythm of the metro commuters passing by. We don’t have a website or anything like that, we just stay here behind the counter. Most of our regulars know to come straight to the mezzanine. It is a practical way to run a business in such a busy part of Delhi.
