Sunny Printers

The shop is number 12 in Shivaji Enclave, over in Block B of Rajouri Garden. We have been here next to the DTDC courier place for a while, which is handy because we are always sending things out or getting paper delivered. Sunny Printers is not a massive operation. It is a small shop packed with machines that hum and click all day long. The air usually smells like ink and warm paper, which is something you just get used to after the first hour of being here. There are stacks of cut paper everywhere you look, and the counters are usually covered in proofs or samples we are checking. It gets pretty cramped when more than two people are inside at the same time. We usually have the back door open to let some air flow through, though it just brings in the noise from the Rajouri streets. It is a loud place, between the printing presses and the traffic outside. We do not have a lot of time for sitting around. Usually, we are standing by the machines, making sure nothing jams or runs out of ink at the wrong moment. People stop by on their way to the courier or just because they saw the sign from the road. It is just a straightforward, busy little shop where we work late into the evening most nights to get the orders finished up for the next morning.
