We operate out of Vasant Kunj, specifically at B-4/3092. It’s more of a residential-feeling area than a factory zone, so we try to keep things quiet. We deal with dyes and chemicals. It’s a lot of weighing powders and mixing things to get the right shades. My clothes usually have a few small spots of color on them that won’t come out. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know how the mixtures work. The space we have is a bit tight, so we have to be careful about how we store everything. We spend a good chunk of the day on the phone with suppliers or trying to figure out why a shipment is late. We aren't some massive corporation with a glass building. It’s just a regular room with some lab equipment and a lot of jars. We started this because we knew the business, and it’s kept us going. Sometimes it’s a bit slow, and other times we have too much to do. We don't really have any grand goals. We just try to get the colors right for the people who buy from us. Vasant Kunj is a nice enough place to work, even if the parking is a bit of a hassle. We just do our bit and go home. It’s a steady job and we've been at it for a while now. Most days are pretty much the same, but that's fine by us. We just keep the jars filled.
