Our place, studio lotus, is on the first floor of Chaudhari Prem Singh House, which is F 301 in Lado Sarai. If you know Lado Sarai, you know it’s a mix of narrow streets, art galleries, and lots of small businesses. Being in Chaudhari Prem Singh House means we are right in the thick of it. The office is usually a bit of a mess with fabric swatches, wood samples, and sketches strewn across every available surface. We aren't the type of firm that keeps everything tucked away in neat drawers. It’s a busy, noisy environment where people are always talking across desks. We don’t have a formal mission statement or a polished "about us" page on a wall. We just show up at F 301 and get to work. The building itself has character, and our floor feels like it’s seen a lot of long nights and early mornings. There’s always a kettle going somewhere because we go through a lot of tea and coffee to keep moving. Lado Sarai has a specific energy that we’ve grown to love, even if parking is a nightmare and the streets get clogged during the day. It’s a real place for real work. We don't try to impress people with fancy furniture or a slick reception. If you come by, you’ll see us exactly as we are—just a group of people trying to design things that make sense.
