Srigitanand Enterprises

We’re a small operation based out of Govardhan in Uttar Pradesh. It’s a place with a lot of history and we feel lucky to be working here. Our office isn't anything you’d see in a magazine; it’s just a practical space where we manage the business. We handle a variety of tasks under the Srigitanand Enterprises name. Most of our days are spent dealing with local suppliers and making sure things get to where they need to go. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication. We don’t have a massive staff, so everyone here wears a lot of different hats. One minute you might be answering the phone, and the next you’re out checking on a delivery. The pace can be slow sometimes, and other days it’s completely frantic. That’s just how it goes in a place like this. We try to be honest in everything we do and don’t see the need for big promises or fancy language. We just show up, do the work, and go home. People around Govardhan know who we are. We’ve built some good relationships over the years just by being around and keeping our word. We don’t have a lot of corporate rules; we just use common sense to solve problems. It’s a simple way of doing business, but it’s worked for us so far. We’re just happy to be a part of the local economy and keep things moving along each day. It’s often dusty in the office but we don't mind.
