Spaces Architects

We are down in the basement at B-6/109 in Safdarjung Enclave. Working in a basement has its own kind of feeling. It’s usually a bit cooler than the upper floors, and it stays pretty quiet, which is great for focusing on drawings. Spaces Architects has been in this Safdarjung Enclave spot for a bit. We’ve got the whole area filled with long tables for the blueprints and a few computers for the digital side of things. There isn’t much of a view since we are below ground level, but we have some good lights to keep things bright. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes with all the folders and project files we have stacked up. You have to walk down the stairs to find us, and once you’re in, it’s just a busy workspace. We aren’t big on appearances. The furniture is a bit mismatched and the tea kettle is always on. We spend our time working through the details of various projects, often losing track of time because we can’t see the sun setting from down here. It’s a solid, practical place to work. The neighborhood is nice, and we often head out to get some fresh air or a snack from the local market nearby. It’s just a group of us trying to make the most of the space we have and getting the work done day by day, one sheet at a time.
