Being located in Naraina Phase II means you get used to the sounds of machinery and trucks pretty quickly. Skn Bentex Group is right here at A-8 in the industrial area. It’s New Delhi, so the weather is either very hot or quite cold, and we just deal with it. Our building has been part of this landscape for years. We make electrical equipment like switches and meters. It’s a dusty place sometimes because of all the construction and industrial work happening nearby, but inside we try to keep things as clean as possible for the assembly work. There’s a rhythm to the day here. The morning starts with the gates opening and the staff trickling in, many of whom have been working with the group for decades. We have these old metal desks and heavy filing cabinets that have seen a lot of history. There is no polish here, just honest work. We don't use big words to describe what we do. If a customer comes in, we show them the products and explain how they work in simple terms. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day to keep going. The Naraina Industrial Area isn't the prettiest place in the world, but it’s where things get made. We are proud of being a part of this community, even if the roads are a bit bumpy and the traffic is a nightmare. It is just where we have always been.
