Shengli Welfare Association

You will find the Shengli Welfare Association over in Rohini, at C-1/231 in Sector 11. It is a North West Delhi neighborhood that is actually pretty well laid out compared to many other parts of this city. Our office is a modest little spot in Sector 11. We have been located here for a while now, just doing our thing day by day. It is a quiet street for the most part, which makes it a very nice and peaceful place to get our work finished. We do not have any big billboards or flashy lights on the building. It is just a regular house-style structure where we have taken up some office space. Inside, there are a few simple desks and some chairs where we sit and talk about what our next steps should be. We do a lot of welfare-related coordination and planning from this room. It is not a high-pressure environment at all; we just take things as they come and try to be helpful to the community. Sometimes we just sit and have tea while chatting about what needs to be fixed in the local area. We know a lot of the people living around Sector 11 now. It is a good, solid community. Our office isn't always perfectly tidy—there are usually stacks of flyers or folders sitting on the main table—but it feels like a real, honest workspace. We don't use any fancy software.
