We are located in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, specifically at C-3/3001. Shashi Construction & Suppliers Pvt. Ltd. is a mix of things. We do some building work, but we also spend a lot of time dealing with supplies. Delhi is a huge place, and getting materials from one side to the other is always a challenge. Traffic is usually the biggest topic of conversation in the office. We spend half our lives on the phone with drivers or checking on stock levels. The office here is usually full of catalogs and samples of whatever we’re dealing with that week. It’s a practical business. We don't go in for big corporate talk. We just tell people what we have and when it can get there. Sometimes we’re juggling three or four different things at once, and it gets a bit hectic. We’ve had good days and bad days just like anyone else. The construction side of the business keeps us on our toes because there’s always something that needs fixing or checking on a site. It’s a lot of hard work and sometimes it gets pretty tiring, but we’ve been at it long enough that it’s just second nature now. We just keep our heads down and try to get the job done right.
