Sevron Foundation

Sevron Foundation is at E-19 in Shyam Nagar. This is in New Delhi, specifically the North East-Delhi district. The office is in a residential-looking building, so it feels very much like a part of the local neighborhood. We have a small sign, but mostly people just know where E-19 is. Inside, the space is divided into a couple of rooms where we keep all our supplies and paperwork. It is a bit cramped sometimes when everyone is in the office at once. The street outside in Shyam Nagar can get quite dusty, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the windows and the desks. We don't have a big staff, just a few people who have been together for a while. The work we do isn't flashy. It involves a lot of phone calls and writing things down in ledgers. We use simple tools and don't have the latest technology. North East-Delhi has a specific energy, and we are right in the middle of it. The morning commute can be a bit of a headache with the traffic, but once we get inside E-19, things settle down. We have our routines, like who makes the tea and who checks the mail. It is an honest day's work in a regular Delhi neighborhood. We usually stay until the sun goes down and then head home through the busy lanes.
