Secure Jan Dhan Nidhi Limited is run from the village of Surajpur. We are located at Santosh C/O Vasdev, which is a well-known spot for the people living nearby. It’s much quieter here than in the big cities, and the pace of life is slower. Our office is small and simple, mostly just a place to keep our registers and sit down with people. We deal with things face to face, and there is usually a lot of talk about the crops or the local events before we even get to the business side of things. The building is sturdy and it keeps the rain out during the monsoon. We don't have fancy air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that clicks as it spins. Outside, you can see the fields and sometimes some cattle wandering by. It’s a very honest way of working, being right here in the heart of the village. We know everyone’s name and their family history, which makes the work feel more personal. Sometimes the power goes out for a few hours and we just sit outside in the shade until it comes back. We keep our records neatly in folders on the wooden shelf. It’s a modest setup in Surajpur, but it serves us well for what we need to do each day. We finish our work and close the shutters as the sun starts to set.
