Seamax Logistics Limited is based at H.No.:300/4 in Mehrouli, New Delhi. If you know the 110030 area, you know it can get pretty crowded with people and vehicles all over the place. We have been operating from this spot for quite a while now. It’s a decent sized place for what we do, which is mostly handling the logistics side of things. There are a few of us who sit here and handle the scheduling. We spend a lot of time looking at manifests and making sure the trucks are where they are supposed to be. It isn't always easy because traffic in Delhi is never predictable. You think a delivery will take an hour and it ends up taking three. We just try to keep things moving as best as we can. The office has seen better days, maybe needs a bit of paint, but it works for us. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for updates from the road. Most of our work is just coordinating between different points. We don't have any big speeches about what we do. It’s just logistics. We get the details, we find a way to move the items, and we make sure the paperwork is filed correctly at the end of the day. Sometimes there are delays at the warehouse or the weather gets bad, and we just have to deal with it. That’s just the nature of this business. We don't mind the noise or the long hours much.
