Getting up to the top floor of the Sampuran Store at Gupta Apartment takes a minute, but the view of Ignou Road isn't bad. We've been in Saidulajaib for some time now. This place is usually quiet, which helps when people come in to talk about their charts or look at the stones we have. It’s not a big space, just a few rooms filled with books and little containers. We keep the gems in glass cases. Most people find us because they live nearby or heard about us from a relative. It’s right next to Anupam Apartment, so it's easy to find once you're on the street. We spend most of our mornings organizing things and checking the stock. The stairs can be a bit steep for some, but we don't mind the climb. It keeps us moving. We don't really do much advertising. People just show up when they have questions about life or want a specific stone for a ring. We try to keep the atmosphere calm. Sometimes the store downstairs gets a bit noisy during deliveries, but up here it stays peaceful. We have a small table where we sit and go over everything. It’s a simple setup. We’ve lived in this area for a long time, so we know most of the faces that pass by. We just do our thing every day and hope for the best. It’s just us and the stones up here, really. It works for us.
