Sakshi Pet Clinic

Most days start early because pet owners want to drop off their dogs before they go to work. We are in the G27 spot at Vardhman Kee Plaza, which is usually pretty busy with people going to the ICICI bank next door. The DAV school kids walk by in the afternoons and sometimes peek through the glass if there is a colorful parrot or a big golden retriever in the waiting area. The clinic isn't huge but we make it work. We have a couple of exam tables and a lot of cabinets filled with medicine and leashes. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when the dogs start barking at each other, especially when a cat is sitting right there in a carrier looking annoyed. The floors need sweeping constantly because of all the fur, but that is just part of the job here in Dwarka. We’ve been at this spot for a while now and the neighbors know us. It’s a bit cramped when three or four families are waiting at once, but people are usually patient. We keep a bowl of water outside for the strays too. The parking can be a bit of a headache during bank hours, so we tell people to come early if they can. It’s just a regular local vet shop where we try to keep things moving and make sure the animals are okay before they head home. We don’t have any fancy coffee machines for the humans, just some old chairs and a lot of care for the pets.
