Being over here at Plot 185 in the Kakrola Housing Complex keeps us pretty busy. Sai Power Air & Refrigeration Co Pvt Ltd is mostly about fixing things that keep people cool. We spend a lot of time out on Main Kakrola Road, either heading to a job or coming back to the shop to grab tools. It gets hot in the summer, so that's when the phones really start ringing off the hook. We aren't a giant corporation with hundreds of vans. It's just a dedicated group of us who know how these machines work. Sometimes the parts take a day or two to arrive, which is frustrating, but we do what we can. Our office isn't much to look at, just a place to keep the inventory and do the billing. We've got tools scattered around and cooling units waiting for repairs. Living and working near the housing complex means we see our neighbors every day. It’s a practical business. If an air conditioner stops working, it’s a problem, and we try to fix it. We don't use big words to explain why a motor died. We just tell you what's wrong and what it costs to fix. It’s honest work. Most of us have been doing this for years, so we’ve seen every kind of broken fridge or AC unit you can imagine. We just try to get to everyone as fast as we can when the heat is on and everything starts breaking down at once.
