Reminiscence

Our shop is in Surya Mansion at 1 Kaushalya Park, right in the Hauz Khas area. It’s a bit of a quieter corner compared to the main market, which suits us just fine. We have filled the space with all sorts of things that we’ve gathered over time. It is a bit of a jumble, to be honest. You might find some old pieces of furniture next to smaller handmade items, and nothing really matches in a traditional way. People often wander in just to have a look around, and we don't mind that at all. It is a small space, and it can get a little dusty because there are so many nooks and crannies where things are tucked away. We spend our mornings tidying up the shelves and maybe moving things around to see if they look better in a different light. Hauz Khas is a neighborhood with a lot of history, and we feel like our little shop fits in well with the general atmosphere. The windows are quite big, so we get a good amount of light during the day, which makes the place feel a bit more comfortable. We don't have any big marketing plans or a complicated business strategy. We just open the doors, talk to whoever comes in, and see what happens. It is a relaxed way to work, and we enjoy the people who stop by to chat or browse through our collection.
