Redefining The Roots Welfare Association

Redefining The Roots Welfare Association is located right on the ground floor of house 36A in Shalimar Bagh. It’s a pretty well-known part of North West Delhi, and we like it here because it feels like a real community. The office isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a door and some windows, but it serves our purpose well. We spend most of our mornings getting through the mail and planning what needs to be done for the week. Since we are on the ground floor, it’s easy for folks to just walk in, which happens more often than you’d think. We don’t really go in for big speeches or polished presentations. We’re more about the actual work that happens behind the scenes. The paperwork can be a lot, and sometimes we feel like we’re drowning in forms, but that’s just part of the job. Being in Shalimar Bagh means we’re close to everything, which helps when we need to run errands or meet someone for association business. It’s a busy life, and the team here is small, so we all end up doing a bit of everything. From answering the phone to fixing a leaky tap in the corner, it all falls on us. We just keep moving forward, trying to stay organized in a space that always feels a bit too small for all our files.
