Flat 690 in Pocket A might seem like a strange place for a clinic if you aren't from around Sector 17 in Dwarka, but it works for us. It feels more like a home than a sterile office. We have been here for a bit now, and the neighbors are used to seeing people coming and going. Living and working in Dwarka means dealing with the way the blocks are laid out, but once you find us, it’s pretty quiet. We don’t have any big neon signs. The clinic is basically just a few rooms set up to help people with their health issues. Most of our day is spent looking at charts or chatting with someone from the block who has a cold. It’s a low-key environment. We kept the old flooring because it’s sturdy and easy to clean. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so people take the stairs. It’s just one of those things you deal with. We don’t have a fancy waiting room with magazines, just a few plastic chairs that do the job. It feels more personal this way, being tucked into a residential pocket. We aren't trying to impress anyone with how the place looks. We just want to make sure that when someone from Sector 17 needs to see a doctor, they have a place close by that doesn't feel like a big, cold institution. It’s just us here, doing the work.
