Radisson, Mahipalpur

Our office is at 26-A, Naveen Place, which is on Jharoda Road in Najafgarh, New Delhi-110072. It’s a bit far from the actual Radisson hotel in Mahipalpur, but this is where we do a lot of the logistical work. The area is quite industrial and dusty, with lots of construction and trucks moving past the gates. Our building is a simple two-story structure. Inside, it’s mostly just us and our computers. We deal with the vendors, the supply orders, and the staffing schedules that keep the hotel running. It’s a lot of phone calls back and forth throughout the day. The office floor is tiled and easy to clean, which is good because of all the dust that blows in from Jharoda Road. We have a small area in the corner where we keep the kettle for making tea in the afternoons. It’s not a fancy space with lounge chairs or art on the walls. It’s practical and a bit crowded with boxes of supplies waiting to be sent out. We’ve been in this spot for a while, and the neighbors all know us. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, and we all take a break outside until the generator starts up. It’s a busy life, but it’s steady. We just focus on the lists and the emails to make sure nothing gets missed for the hotel. It’s just a normal workday for us here in Najafgarh.
