Being up on the 7th floor of the MTNL Building in Bhikaji Cama Place gives us a bit of a view, though it is mostly just other grey buildings and the tops of cars down below. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. The elevators can be a real pain during the morning rush when everyone is trying to get to their desks at the same time. This is the financial district area, so it’s always busy with people in suits and delivery guys running around. Ptc India Financial Services Ltd is just one of many offices here. We don't have fancy decorations or a gym in the building. It is just a standard office with desks, computers, and files everywhere. The air conditioning sometimes struggles when it gets really hot in Delhi, but we manage. Most of us eat lunch at our desks or go down to the local stalls for some quick food. It’s not a glamorous life, but the work keeps us occupied. Getting here from the metro is a short walk, but in the summer, even those few minutes feel long. We spend our days looking at numbers and documents. It is a lot of sitting and typing. The office gets quiet in the afternoons until it’s time to head home and face the Delhi traffic again. It’s just how things are for us here.
