We are at shop G-52, which is pretty close to Ramphal Chowk in Dwarka Sector 7. It’s not the biggest shop in the mall, but we have enough space for all the frames and the testing equipment. Most of the time, it’s just one or two of us here helping people pick out glasses that don't slide down their noses. We see a lot of kids from Sector 17n who need their first pair of lenses and older folks who can't read the newspaper anymore. The mall can get pretty loud on the weekends, but inside the shop, it stays fairly quiet so we can focus on the eye exams. We spend a lot of our day cleaning fingerprints off the display cases. It seems like as soon as we wipe one down, someone else touches it. That’s just how it goes in a place like this. We don’t have any big corporate goals; we just want to make sure the glasses we hand over actually help people see better. Sometimes the deliveries for new contact lenses are late, and we have to call everyone to explain, which isn't fun, but we do it anyway. It’s just a small local shop trying to stay busy in a big mall. We hope people find what they need.
