Pooran Mal Kaushik Foundation

We’re based in Sector 24 of Rohini, right on the ground floor of House Number 175 in Pocket 22. It’s a nice enough area in North West Delhi, though it can get a bit dusty with all the construction nearby. The Pooran Mal Kaushik Foundation is basically a family effort. We named it after someone important to us and decided to use this space to help out however we can. We don't have a specific agenda or a glossy brochure. Usually, we just respond to whatever needs pop up in the local area. The ground floor makes it easy for elderly people or anyone else to just walk in without worrying about stairs. We’ve got a few desks and some chairs for visitors. It’s not a fancy setup, just some basic furniture we’ve collected over the years. We spend our days talking to people from the neighborhood and trying to sort out local problems. Sometimes it’s about education, other times it’s about helping someone get their ID papers in order. We don't claim to have all the answers. We’re just people who live in Rohini and want to be useful. It gets busy, and sometimes we lose track of time. But being here in 110085 feels right. We aren't doing this for the money or for praise. We just do it because it’s what neighbors do. Our door is usually open if someone needs to talk or needs a bit of help with something.
