Pehal Ek Koshish Foundation

Pehal Ek Koshish Foundation is based at 40 S/F, Kh No 61/18/2, which is near the water tubewell in South West Delhi. That tubewell is a bit of a landmark for us because it’s how we tell people to find the office. It’s a pretty simple setup here in the 110061 area. Being in this part of Delhi means dealing with the heat and the dust, but we are used to it. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we keep our records and meet up. We started Pehal Ek Koshish Foundation because we wanted to have a base for our efforts right here in the local community. It is a lot of back-and-forth work, often dealing with local issues that pop up. We don't have a marketing department or a big PR team. It’s just us. The space gets a bit cramped when everyone is in at once, but we make it work. Usually, there’s a lot of noise from the nearby area, which keeps things lively. We find that being close to the ground like this helps us understand what’s actually happening around us. We aren't fans of long meetings that go nowhere. We prefer to just get on with the task at hand. It’s a bit messy sometimes, and things don't always go perfectly, but that’s just how real life is. We just keep plugging away at our work every single day.
