We’re located at D181C in Freedom Fighter Enclave, which is in the Neb Sarai area of New Delhi. This is where we handle things for Pantaloon Retail through Indoarya Logistics. It’s a bit of an interesting spot because Freedom Fighter Enclave is mostly residential, so our office fits into the neighborhood in a quiet kind of way. We spend our days managing the flow of retail goods, which means there’s always something to keep track of. It’s not a corporate skyscraper; it’s just a functional space where we can focus on the inventory and shipping schedules. People here are usually busy with paperwork or on the phone with various warehouses and stores. We try to keep things organized, but in the retail world, things can get a little messy sometimes when a big shipment is due. We don’t have any fancy mission statements on the walls. We just have our desks and our schedules. Neb Sarai is a busy part of Delhi, and getting here can be a bit of a task depending on the time of day, but we’re used to it. Most of us have been working in this field for a while, so we just get on with it. We handle the logistical side of the retail business so the clothes and goods actually make it to the shelves. It’s a lot of coordination and just staying on top of the details throughout the week to get things finished.
