You can find me over at K-26 in Mahipalpur Extension. It’s a busy part of Delhi, not too far from the airport. The office is pretty simple. I’ve got a desk, some chairs for visitors, and a lot of filing cabinets. I handle financial services, which mostly means helping people with their money matters and investments. People come in with questions about where to put their savings or how to handle their insurance. I spend a lot of time on the phone talking to banks or looking at market charts. It’s a one-man show mostly, though I have someone helping with the admin sometimes. Mahipalpur is always noisy with the traffic and people moving around, but inside the office, we just focus on the work. I’ve lived and worked in this area for a long time. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a functional space where the work gets done. I try to explain things in a way that makes sense without using too much jargon. Sometimes the paperwork for these financial products is dozens of pages long, and it’s my job to go through it. People trust me because I’ve been here at K-26 for years and I don't move around. It’s a steady business built on just being here every day and answering the phone when it rings.
