We’ve been here at Rz-38/174 in Gali Number 3 for quite some time now. Durga Park is a busy place and Dwarka is always growing around us. Most days start with opening the shutters and seeing who’s already waiting outside in the lane. It’s not a very big space, but we manage to fit everything in. Sometimes the fans are buzzing and it gets a bit warm in the afternoon, but that’s just how it is. People from the neighborhood come in with all sorts of broken things or they need a specific part for their home setups. We spend a lot of time looking at small components under the light. The street outside can get pretty loud with bikes and people talking, but inside we just focus on the task at hand. It’s a lot of sitting and fixing things. We don't really have a big fancy showroom or anything like that. Just a counter and shelves full of boxes. Sometimes we run out of chai and have to send someone down the road. It’s just us doing what we know how to do. You get used to the rhythm of the place after a few years. It’s honest work and it keeps the lights on. Sometimes customers stay for a bit to chat about the weather or the traffic in Dwarka, which is always a mess lately. We just keep the shop open and see what the day brings in.
