About Orient Ceramics & Industries Ltd. – Building & Construction Material in South West Delhi
At Iris House in Nangal Raya, things are usually a bit dusty because of all the ceramic samples we have lying around the place. We are in the Business Centre at number 16. It’s a heavy business, literally, with all the tiles and stone pieces we have to move back and forth. The office is basically a mix of a showroom and a workspace. Customers come in looking at patterns, and we just try to help them find what they need without being too pushy or scripted. The walk from the main road isn't too bad, but the area gets crowded with trucks and tempos during the middle of the day. Inside, there are stacks of catalogs and pieces of tile everywhere you look. We mostly spend our time on the phone with dealers or checking if the warehouse has enough stock for a particular order. It’s not the most glamorous job in the world, but it’s steady work for the team. We have a small kitchen area where the kettle is always running for tea. Sometimes the light in the back room flickers, but we haven’t gotten around to fixing it yet. It’s a practical place for practical people who don't mind a bit of heavy lifting. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we all know how each other likes their coffee and we just get through the day together.
