Our office for Nippon Express (India)Pvt.Ltd. is at H-01 on the Bijwasan-Palam Vihar Road. It is right there on the border between New Delhi and Gurgaon. This area is always dusty because of all the trucks and the wind blowing across the open land. The building is a simple structure, not like the high-rises you see further down the road. We have been at this 110037 address for some time now. It’s a very practical location for what we do, even if it isn't the prettiest place to spend a day. We have a few rooms filled with computers and files. The staff here mostly comes from the nearby colonies, so we all know each other well. It’s a bit of a trek to get decent lunch nearby, so most of us bring tiffins from home and eat together. The sound of airplanes overhead is constant because we are so close to the airport. You get used to the noise after the first week. We don't have any polished marketing materials lying around or a fancy mission statement on the wall. It’s just a place where we track shipments and talk to drivers. Some days are slow and some are completely chaotic, especially when there is a delay at the terminal. We just take it as it comes and try to stay organized as much as possible.
