New Leaf Horticulture

New Leaf Horticulture is tucked away in the Sriniwaspuri Mini Market at Shop Number 12. It is a small place but we have a lot packed into it. If you walk through the market, you will probably see us near the other local shops. We spend a lot of our time dealing with plants and everything that goes with them. Sometimes the floor is a bit dusty from the soil, but that is just part of the job. We have been at this location for a good while, and the people in the market are like family to us. It is not one of those big, shiny garden centers you see in magazines. It is just a local shop where we keep things simple. We usually have a radio playing in the background while we work. The space is a bit tight, especially when new stock arrives, but we manage to keep things moving. Most of our day is spent checking on things and talking to whoever wanders in. We do not have a big staff, just a few of us who know the routine. It is a practical life, working with your hands and staying in one spot for years. The Mini Market has its own rhythm, and we have become a part of it over the seasons. We are usually around from morning until the sun starts to set over the buildings.
