We are located on the first floor of H.No. 52/B right in Munirka Village in New Delhi. If you’ve ever been to Munirka, you know the lanes are narrow and there is always something going on. It’s a very lively place to have an office. We share the building with other locals, and you have to climb a narrow set of stairs to get to us. Inside, it’s all business for Nagarjuna Construction Company Limited. We have desks pushed against the walls to make room for all the site plans and documents. It gets quite noisy with the Delhi traffic right outside, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. Our team is usually busy tracking shipments or arguing with contractors on the phone. There is no reception desk or someone to greet you; you just walk in and someone will eventually look up from their screen. The office feels a bit lived-in, with scuffed floors and shelves that have seen better days. We keep things simple because we’re more concerned with the construction projects than with how the office looks to outsiders. In the winter, it gets a bit chilly in here, and in the summer, we rely heavily on the fans. It is a humble spot, but it’s where all the heavy lifting of the planning happens. We’re just a bunch of regular people doing our jobs in a crowded corner of the city.
