Working inside the I.I.T. Campus in New Delhi is a bit different than being out in the main city. It is a lot greener here and feels a bit more relaxed than the usual Delhi rush. Our office is in the A-2, C-1 section. It can be a little confusing for new people to navigate the campus paths at first because everything looks similar with the trees and the brick buildings. We spend most of our time dealing with manpower consulting, which basically means a lot of phone calls and looking at resumes all day long. The office itself is simple and functional. We have the standard chairs and tables and a lot of paper stacked up on the corners of the desks. Being near the students and the academic vibe is nice, though we stay focused on our own business. Sometimes we grab lunch at one of the small canteens nearby if we don't bring something from home. It is a steady environment. We don't have any big signs or anything, just the address on the door. Most people who come to see us are looking for work or help with staffing, so we keep things straightforward and honest with them. It is a lot of talking and organizing people's schedules, which keeps us pretty busy from Monday to Friday. The commute can be a bit of a pain with Delhi traffic.
